So now that we are all worked up 😊 thanks to Lady & The Tramp 🦮, Lets get to the recipe.📝
Going to give you my GO-TO / STANDARD Pasta recipe 🍝. Cheese Optional but recommended. 😛🧀
What we gonna need :
Sauce
Roasted red bell peppers in a jar / Raw Red Pepper charred on a flame 🔥
Jalpeno AND/OR Red pepper Flakes 🌶️
FOR A CREAMIER VARIATION : PLANT MILK/PLANT CREAMER
Pasta
Penne Pasta (MY preference, You can use any pasta you like)
Veggies
Broccoli 🥦, Rainbow🌈Peppers (This is my preference, You can use any veggies that you like)
To Taste
Basil / Oregano 🌿
Salt 🧂
Olive Oil
Lemon juice (Optional) 🍋
How are we going to make it:
IN a blender 🌀: In a Add 2 cups 🍵 water, roasted red peppers, Jalapeno
In a pot 🍲 : Add equal parts pasta + water + blended sauce + veggies + salt Cook on medium.
After 20 - 30 min check ✔️ for done - ness (Add salt 🧂 to taste if needed) Turn heat down ⏬ to medium low if it needs to cook more.
(If you are doing the creamier version this is when you add milk / cream 🥛 around 1/4 -1/2 cup to coat all the pasta 🍲 & cook for 5-10 min more on medium low 🕯️ )
Turn heat off ☀️ when almost near done, finish with olive oil🫒 , cool & serve!!
This couldn’t get more simpler , gets better with time and goes great 😁 with vegan MOZ , Vegan Parm , Nutritional yeast or balsamic vinegar …. but tastes just as awesome without . 🤤
